Infographic: TPBL 2025 Playoffs Team Stats Showdown

self-generated, 2025

This infographic poster presents key performance stats of the four teams in the TPBL 2025 playoffs. I focused on creating a visually engaging and easy-to-understand design by using player silhouettes to draw attention and combining bar and pie charts for a clear data display. I selected six key stats that even casual fans can understand to reduce the learning curve. The yellow and black color scheme adds a sense of speed and digital energy. At the bottom, a QR code invites viewers to join a championship prediction campaign, encouraging interaction and boosting engagement. This project reminded me of how good information design simplifies data and inspires action.

Infographic: Pride of Taiwan – The Chinese Taipei Baseball Team

self-generated, 2024

This infographic celebrates Taiwan’s deep-rooted baseball culture and the global success of the Chinese Taipei national team. While Taiwan is often known for its food and tech industry, baseball plays an equally important role in shaping our national identity. Ranked second in the world, the team’s achievements deserve wider recognition.

As a lifelong baseball fan, I created this visual story to share my pride and to help others quickly understand the team’s legacy. The design uses the team’s official colors—deep blue and gray—and dynamic visual elements to evoke speed and energy. A stylized Taipei skyline anchors the layout, while clean typography and strategic spacing ensure readability. This piece merges data storytelling with national pride, aiming to introduce Taiwan’s baseball culture to a broader audience.

Infographic: 10 Skating Stores in New York City

self-generated, 2020

The inspiration for this work comes from my exposure to skateboarding culture since childhood. Although I am not a skilled skateboarder, I have been interested in American street culture since high school, starting with early skateboarding brands like Stussy, Zooyork, FTC, Creature, Independent, and more recently, up-and-coming brands like Braindead, Dime, Buttergoods, Hotel blue, Gx1000.

Skateboarding culture has undergone significant transformation influenced by fashion, moving towards more design-oriented, high-end, and boutique styles. The main reason I love skateboarding culture is that I believe street culture is the origin of all creativity. It is a form of rebellion and mobilization by grassroots communities facing the world, government, and society. Skateboarding culture must be rooted in a land with diverse cultural backgrounds to thrive, and New York City, a melting pot of races, is the birthplace of many world-class skateboarding brands.

I have been fortunate enough to visit New York twice in the past and have been deeply drawn to this unique and diverse city. Of the ten skateboard shops listed in the infographic, I have visited half of them, but it’s regrettable that the physical stores of anything, Mighty Healthy, and 5boronyc no longer exist. Each of these ten skateboard shops has its unique character and culture, with a considerable number of fans representing different skateboarding factions.

I believe New York is the best place to nurture these street brands because it encompasses different races, subcultures, and styles, making it more culturally diverse and impactful than West Coast skateboarding. Combining my past travel experiences with my interests, I created this infographic work. In terms of visual design, I used the classic orange and blue color scheme of the New York Knicks to reinforce the city’s identity.

The beginning of the design features floating objects symbolizing cell division, interspersed with cultural symbols such as skateboarding, graffiti, and pigeons, to depict the cultural diversity deeply embedded in this city’s DNA. The map and address design prioritize user readability, making it easy for users to locate the shops they want to visit, without overly complicated design.

Finally, the “What to Do” section adopts a humorous American tone to reflect on the increasingly boutique nature of skateboarding brands. It criticizes the blind pursuit of trendy items by fashionistas, which overlooks the core spirit and attitude that skateboarding brands truly wish to convey.
