UI project:

I-Caring Website

professional, 2017

At the invitation of the founder of the digital startup company, 2erguys, I embarked on the interface design and production project for another digital product, the LoveCare platform. This project differs from others in that it was built on a framework. From the main visual colors, logo design, icon design, website flow, webpage layout, and more, we established a general consensus before starting the design work after receiving the wireframe.

For this design, I had to approach it by considering the target users (who are the family and relatives of the elderly) and the core function of the platform (which is matching services). Therefore, we wanted to create an atmosphere of “ dedication” “optimism,”” and “willingness to give.” Unlike other long-term care platforms, the LoveCare platform’s homepage displays the icons for its core services (in the order of: home rehabilitation, nursing care, meal preparation, household services, personal shopping, social companionship, meal delivery, and transportation services).

When users hovers over the icon with their mouse, a clear explanation and feedback are given to them. Additionally, we plan to shoot product overview videos in the future and use an overlay interface to directly play the product videos.

Finally, in this stage of the design process, the biggest challenge I encountered was the fact that the members of this startup company all have other full-time jobs during the day and are very busy. As a result, we can only schedule online meetings to discuss the progress of product development once a week, which significantly affects the efficiency of digital product development and the quality of communication.

Therefore, due to this limitation, on weekdays, I have to rely on online collaboration software like Balsamiq to clearly express my design ideas, annotate design details, and accurately convey the founder's product vision to the engineers. I am committed to synchronizing everyone's ideas about this digital product and making the most of the very limited free time of the startup company members.
